8.Discharge and Withdrawal.The Client may discharge the Firm at any time
with or without cause.The Firm may withdraw without consent for good cause.Good cause
includes the Client’s breach of this Agreement, refusal to cooperate with the Firm or to follow the

Firm’s advice on a material matter or any fact or circumstance that would render the Firm’s
continuing representation unlawful or unethical.
9.Disclaimer of Guarantee.Nothing in this Agreement and nothing in the
Firm's statements to the Client will be construed as a promise or guarantee about the outcome of the
Client's Matter.The Firm’s comments about the outcome of the Client's Matter are expressions of
opinion only, and the Client has not relied upon any such opinions for any purposes whatsoever.
10.Effective Date.This Agreement will take effect when the Client has performed
the conditions stated in Paragraph 1, but its effective date will be retroactive to the date the Firm first
performed services.The date below is for reference only.Even if this Agreement does not take
effect, the Client will be obligated to pay the Firm the reasonable value of any services the Firm may
have performed for the Client.When the Firm’s services conclude, all unpaid charges will
immediately become due and payable.After the Firm’s services conclude, the Firm will, upon the
Client’s request, deliver his/her/its file to him/her/it, along with any funds or property of the Client
in the Firm’s possession.This office reserves the right to cease working on the Matter at hand
should its invoices/statements not be paid as agreed.
